API UTTARAKHAND : After the birth of Uttarakhand state in 2000, we continued our state API activities with our mother state of Uttar Pradesh. Then Dr KC Lohani (chairman) and Dr Arun Kapoor (secretary) organised a 2 state APICON at Nainital in 2001. That time our member strength was <200, so we continued our API activities with UP state.
Later on, Dr Bhatnagar and Dr Vinay Gupta arranged a state level meeting at Roorkee in 2007, but the UK API came in existence only in 2008-09.
In 2008-09 1st APICON at Bhimtal by chairman Dr KC Lohani and secretary Dr Deepak Rastogi
In 2010-11 2nd APICON at Mussorie by chairman Dr Kuldeep Dutta and secretary Dr Sudhanshu Kalra.
In 2012-13 3rd APICON at Kashipur by chairman Dr SP Gupta and secretary Dr Arvind Sharma
In 2013-14 4th APICON at Roorkee by chairman Dr JN Bhatnagar and secretary Dr Vinay Gupta
In 2014-15 5th APICON at Rudrapur by chairman Dr Deepak Rastogi and secretary Dr Chandra Shekhar
In 2015-16 6th APICON at Dehradun by chairman Dr Amita Sharma and secretary Dr Reshma Kaushik
In 2016-17 7th APICON at Haldwani by chairman Dr SK Gupta and secretary Dr Mohan Tewari
In 2017-18 8th APICON at Haridwar by chairman Dr Vipin Mehra and secretary Dr Sanjay Sah
In 2018-19 9th APICON at Dehradun by chairman Dr Amit Verma and secretary Dr Kapil Sharma
2019-2020 10th APICON jointly with IMA Kashipur by Dr SP Gupta and Dr Arvind Sharma at Jim Corbett Parkbut due to Covid-19 no activity done and now
11th APICON is going to be organised on 18th and 19th May at Wood castle spa and resort, Zim corbet park area,RamNagar,Nainital,by Chairman Dr.S.P.Gupta and secretary Dr.Arvind Sharma.Dr.Arvind Sharma will takeover, charge of Chairman API,Uttarakhand for session 2024-25.
